Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your participation in the SMS volunteer coordination program operated by the Lago Vista Vikings Booster Club, Inc. (“Booster Club,” “we,” or “us”) and powered by JJ Lux Consulting LLC. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

Program Description

The Lago Vista Vikings Booster Club volunteer SMS program lets subscribers receive text-message notifications about open volunteer slots at Lago Vista High School Vikings home games, sign up for slots by reply, and get day-of reminders for slots they have claimed. The program is operated solely for the purpose of volunteer coordination for the Booster Club.

Voluntary Subscription

Subscription to this SMS program is entirely voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not required to volunteer with, donate to, or otherwise participate in the Lago Vista Vikings Booster Club. A complete list of volunteer channels is available at lvtext.com. You may volunteer through any of the following channels:

• Emailing lvvikingbooster@gmail.com
• Signing up in person at any home game
• Contacting a Booster Club officer (President, Treasurer, or any board member)
• Following the booster Facebook page for posted volunteer opportunities

The SMS program is one of several communication channels and is provided as a convenience for those who prefer text alerts. You may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your ability to volunteer through any other channel.

Opt-In

You may subscribe to the program by:

• Texting the keyword LETS ROW to (737) 252-8208
• Checking the clearly labeled optional SMS consent box on the volunteer sign-up form at lvtext.com and providing your mobile number. The sign-up form works without this box — leaving it unchecked signs you up as a volunteer with no text messages and no phone number collected.

By subscribing through any of these methods, you affirm that the mobile number you provided belongs to you, that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you consent to receive automated SMS messages from us.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the home game schedule. Subscribers typically receive 1 to 4 messages per week during active Vikings home game seasons across all booster-supported sports (typically fall through spring). Off-season periods may have no messages for several weeks.

Carrier Charges

Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. We do not charge for the messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of the program at any time by replying any of the following keywords to any message we send you:

• STOP
• UNSUBSCRIBE
• CANCEL
• END
• QUIT

You will receive one final SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will not send you any further messages unless you re-subscribe.

Supported Carriers

The program supports all major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and other carriers participating in the A2P 10DLC ecosystem. T-Mobile and other carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable Use

By participating in the program, you agree not to:

• Use the program for any purpose other than as intended
• Provide a phone number that does not belong to you or that you do not have authorization to enroll
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the program
• Sign up for volunteer slots you do not intend to honor

No Warranty

The program is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that messages will be delivered on time or at all. We are not responsible for any third-party charges incurred as a result of receiving or sending messages.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle subscriber data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via SMS at least 7 days before they take effect. The current version will always be available at this URL.
