This Privacy Policy describes how the Lago Vista Vikings Booster Club, Inc. (“Booster Club,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you subscribe to our volunteer coordination SMS program through lvtext.com or by texting our number. This program is operated by JJ Lux Consulting LLC on behalf of the Booster Club.
Information We Collect
When you subscribe to our SMS program, we collect:
- Your name (as you provide it)
- Your mobile phone number
- The date and time you opted in
- The source of your opt-in (web form, text-in keyword, manual)
- Messages you send and receive through the program
- Volunteer slot sign-ups you make (game, position, and time slot)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Send you SMS messages about volunteer opportunities, game reminders, and slot openings at home games
- Confirm volunteer slot sign-ups
- Send day-of reminders for slots you have signed up for
- Notify Booster Club administrators when you sign up for a slot, so they can coordinate logistics
- Respond to your text messages within the conversation flow
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your information to third parties
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not send promotional content unrelated to volunteering or booster club activities
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Service Providers
We use the following service providers to operate the SMS program:
- Twilio Inc. for SMS message delivery
- Supabase Inc. for subscriber database hosting
- Netlify, Inc. for web hosting
- Resend Inc. for administrator email notifications
Each service provider has access only to the information needed to perform its specific function and is contractually obligated to protect that information.
Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency varies based on the home game schedule. Typically you may receive 1 to 4 messages per week during the active season. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan.
Your Rights
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to be removed from the program immediately.
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
- Access or deletion: Email justin@jjlux.co to request access to or deletion of your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed to the program. If you opt out, we retain a record of your phone number and opt-out date to honor your preference and prevent re-subscription without renewed consent. You may request full deletion by emailing the address above.
Eligibility
This program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By subscribing, you confirm that you are at least 18 or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
